About Us

The Hawaii Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit professional organization serving OB-GYN physicians, residents, and allied health professionals throughout the state of Hawaii. Our society is dedicated to advancing the highest standards of women's healthcare through professional education, advocacy, research support, and community outreach.

Mission & Vision

Our mission is to promote excellence in obstetric and gynecologic care for the women of Hawaii by supporting the professional development of our members, fostering collaboration among healthcare providers, and advocating for policies that improve maternal and reproductive health outcomes. We envision a Hawaii where every woman receives compassionate, evidence-based, and equitable healthcare throughout every stage of her life.

Why We Exist

Hawaii's unique geographic and demographic landscape presents distinct challenges in healthcare delivery. Our society was established to ensure that OB-GYN professionals across the islands have access to the latest medical education, peer support, and advocacy resources needed to deliver exceptional care to their patients, particularly in underserved rural and neighbor island communities.
